BOUCHER – Macie Mae is the name chosen for the newborn daughter of Richard Boucher and Deanna Caron of Wells. Macie was born Dec. 28 at 1:23 p.m. She weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces, and measured 18.5 inches long when delivered at OSF St. Francis Hospital.

Macie is the couple’s first child.

Maternal grandparents are Don and Donna Caron of Escanaba. Paternal grandparents are Gerri and Tony Heintz of Escanaba and Daniel Boucher of Wells.

The baby’s great-grandparents are Herb and Rita Caron of Escanaba, Viola Sloan of Watson, Phyliss Boucher of Wells, and Billie Pearson of Gladstone.

PETERSON – Eric and Heather (DeRoeck) Peterson of DePere, Wis., welcomed a daughter, Ashlen Noel, born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay on Dec. 21 at 10:30 a.m. Ashlen weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long at birth.

She is the second child in the family.

Patti and Bruce Basten of DePere and Steve and Barb DeRoeck of Sartell, Minn., are the baby’s maternal grandparents. Tim Peterson of Marinette and Sue Barrows of Peshtigo, Wis., are the baby’s paternal grandparents.

Great-grandparents are Marilyn Brayak of Escanaba, Russel and Elaine DeRoeck of Gladstone and Carol and Gary Peterson of Marinette.

RIVARD – Maya Amelia, newborn daughter of Seth and Beata Rivard of Rockford, Mich., was delivered at 12:27 p.m. on Dec, 17 at Spectrum Health Medical Center in Grand Rapids. The infant, the couple’s second child, weighed in at 7 pounds, 9.7 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long.

Maya joins her sister, Liliana, at home.

Maya’s grandparents are Stanislaw and Katarzyna Domagala of Grand Rapids and Ralph and Judith Rivard of Escanaba.

Harry Vlcek of Chicago, Ill., is the baby’s great-grandfather.
