Dugree awarded MTU engineering degree
HOUGHTON – David Dugree earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering, as well as a certificate in electric power engineering, from Michigan Technological University during their December 2012 commencement. Dugree graduated cum lade with a cumulative grade point average of 3.64.
During his undergraduate career at MTU, David earned Dean’s List honors several times and was an active member of the National Service Fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. He also spent time working for Oldenburg Group Inc. of Kingsford and GE Aviation in Houghton.
David also enjoyed photography, exploring the Keweenaw Peninsula with friends, and playing hockey as well as other sports.
A native of Hermansville, David is the son of Anna and Gerald Dugree and graduated from North Central High School. He started his career this month at Black & Veatch in Ann Arbor.
