SAN DIEGO – Archie Terrian, 79, went home to his heavenly father on Feb. 17 , 2013. He passed peacefully at home with his family. He was born on Jan. 23, 1934, in Escanaba, to his parents, LuLu and Louis Terrian.
He served in the Korean War. In 1961 he, his wife and children moved to San Diego, Calif. In 1996 he retired from San Diego Transit. Archie was always a great family man. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marilyn, son Rick (Melinda) Terrian, daughters Cynthia (Gerald) Buck, Deanna (Jim) Brown and Kelli (George) England. Also, five grand- grandchildren and three great-children. Archie is also survived by his sister Mary Lanaville, a half-brother Fred (Millie) Niquette, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Randi; one brother, Louis; and a half-brother, Bob; his parents and stepfather, Leo Niquette.
Viewing will be held Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, 4 to 8 p.m. with the Rosary at 7 p.m. at El Camino Mortuary in San Diego. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church in Poway with a Reception following in the Parish Hall. Burial to follow at El Camino Cemetery.
