Tai Chi added to Gladstone Senior Center programs

GLADSTONE – The Gladstone Senior Center has added exercise classes to the many activities offered by the center. In addition to their “Sit and Be Fit” class designed to help senior improve their mobility and general physical wellness, Tai Chi classes were recently introduced.

Tai Chi is a gentle and safe exercise to help improve the quality of life for people with arthritis as well as improved balance and other problems seniors experience. It is practiced throughout the world as an effective exercise to improve health and mobility.

The class is led by professional teacher, Cathi Knauf, who has instructed hundreds of people on how to improve their mental and physical life with a feeling of well-being.

Classes are offered free of charge to all seniors.
