Two students arrested for sexual assault

EWEN – Two students have been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting another student recently at Ewen-Trout Creek Schools, according to Michigan State Police.

Warrants were authorized for two suspects allegedly involved in two separate incidents of criminal sexual assault against the same victim, according to a news release from the Ewen police detachment.

The two suspects were arrested Monday. Each was charged with criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree which carries a maximum punishment of two years in prison. Their names are not being released at this time, said police.

School personnel reported an alleged sexual assault on school grounds on Friday. The investigation led police to look into a second alleged incident. The two suspects and the victim are all students at Ewen-Trout Creek.
