‘Above the Bridge’ Songwriter’s Weekend planned in June

CURTIS – The Erickson Center for the Arts presents their 6th annual Above the Bridge Songwriter’s Weekend June 20-23 at Chamberlin’s Ole Forest Inn and the Erickson Center in Curtis.

The Above the Bridge songwriter’s weekend was founded in 2008 by Steve and Rachel Wood in conjunction with the Erickson Center for the Arts. The Above the Bridge Songwriter’s Weekend is an all inclusive weekend workshop with award winning musicians/songwriters.

The skilled and experienced staff includes returning staff members John Latini, Chris Buhalis and Jill Jack, along with first time staffers Jamie-Sue Seal and Jay Stielstra.

This weekend is being offered to songwriters, musicians and music lovers alike. A weekend packed full of song writing, open-stage time, musical workshops, critique sessions, one-on-one sessions and performances by award winning artists.

The public is welcome to come and listen to participants of the Above the Bridge on Thursday and Friday evenings, June 20-21, at Chamberlin’s Ole Forest Inn. On Saturday night, June 22, the public is invited to the Erickson Center in Curtis, where the Above the Bridge staff will perform in concert.
