BODA – Duane and Anne Marie Boda of Ishpeming welcomed their first child, a daughter, born at Marquette General Hospital on April 10 at 6:57 a.m. Kaylee Alisha weighed in at 6 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 18.5 inches long at birth.
The mother is the former Anne Marie Erickson.
Maternal grandparents are Don and Agnes Erickson of Gladstone.
KINSLER – Denver, Colo., residents Steve and Amy (Kell) Kinsler, formerly of Escanaba, welcomed a baby boy, their second son, delivered at St. Joseph Hospital on Dec. 11 at 6:31 p.m. Brady Stephen weighed in at 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 18 inches long.
The baby joined big brother, Kelly, at home.
Randy and Sandy Kell of Escanaba, and Virginia and Scott Kinsler, of Sterling Heights, Mich., are Brady’s grandparents.
Great-grandparents are Karl Kell of Escanaba, June Peterson of Whiting, Ind., Dorothy Price of Washington Twp, Mich., and Gladys Kinsler of Fort Myers, Fla.
DESCHAINE – Malachi James, newborn son of Kristina Hurkman and Donald Deschaine both of Escanaba, was delivered at OSF St. Francis Hospital on March 17. The infant weighed in at 5 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 18 inches long when he was delivered at 3:30 a.m.
Malachi joins two brothers, Dredyn Deschaine, 13 months, and Mason Shope, 5.
The baby’s maternal grandparents are Sandy and Rex Seegert of Escanaba, and Steven Hurkman Sr. of Arnold.
Carol Wallin and Duane Cahoon of Escanaba are Malachi’s great-grandparents.
PALMGREN – Bark River residents, Eric and Michelle (Hall) Palmgren, welcomed a son, Chase Eric, at OSF St. Francis Hospital on April 27 at 3:10 p.m. Chase weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces, and measured 20 inches long at birth.
He joins sister, Addisyn Grace, at home.
Gail and Gary Hall of Rapid River and Caz and Scott Palmgren of Bark River are the infant’s grandparents.
Chase’s great-grandparents are Caz Hams of Wilson, Joan Stevenson of Gladstone and Betty Hall of Grand Rapids.
