Terrace Bluff 2-Man
WELLS – Matt Smith and Randy Eis of Escanaba Country Club won the Championship Flight of the Eighth Annual Terrace Bluff 2-Man Senior Scramble held Thursday, shooting 60. They were followed by Phil Johnson and Tom Petehoff of Marquette (64), Scott Erickson and Jim Scullion of Marquette (66) and Jeff McCall of Terrace Bluff and Mark Ray of Highland Golf Club.
1st Flight – Tom Marking and Rich Haysacker, Green Bay, 64
2nd Flight – Randy Paris and Ed Flath, Gwinn, 69

Irish Oaks men
ESCANABA – Kurt Schwalbach and Dave Harris each shot 35 Wednesday in the Irish Oaks Golf Club Men’s League. Matt Smith Jr., Matt Eugate and Mike Pilon shot 36, Tom Mitchell 37, Josh Mileski 38 and John Cooper and Brad Peterson 39.
HYDE – Jason Feathers shot a 69 Tuesday evening in the Highland Golf Club Men’s League. Scott Kwarciany and Jeff Lampi fired 71’s, Mark Ray 73, Mike Brayak 74, Curt Servant 75, Jim Peltier 76, Justin Williams, Doug Motto and John Erickson 77, Jeong Han, Robin Halfaday, Brian Warren and Mark Kleiman 78 and Mark Johnson and Dennis Dittrich 79.
ESCANABA – The Escanaba Country Club Primetimers will hold their monthly luncheon and scramble, Monday. Tee off is at 10 a.m. with lunch to follow golf. Register at the ECC bar.
Highland senior men
HYDE – A team comprised of Bob Stenfors, Dave Nordin, Pinky DeCaire, Mike Needham and guest/novice John Vrancic gained medalist honors in the Highland Golf Club Men’s Senior League four and five-man scramble Thursday, shooting a seven-under par 64.
Jake Chaillier, Don Anderson, Gil Bittner, Orv Lantagne and Ralph Rivard were runners-up with 65. They were followed by Bob Ward, Len Skrobiak, Willie Lamarche and Ken O’Neil at 69.
CARNEY – MJ Electric beat Hannahville 98-63 in Carney Summer League action Wednesday. Sam Larson paced MJ with 25 points, and Charlie Klumb added 19. Trevor Lovell put up 16 for Hannahville.
Best Cedar Products dropped Wangerin Logging 116-108. Tyler Mercier was on fire with 39 points. Cody Whitens added 25 for Best Cedar, and Jacob Brock netted 37 points to lead Wangerin. Josh St. Juliana scored 25.
In game three, Juice Promotions defeated Bark River Old Timers 112-98. Bryce Bilski and Mike Polfus dominated, putting up 44 and 31 points respectively for Juice. Matt Richer Jr scored 17 and Dawson Bilski had 16 for the Old Timers.
Cutter’s Edge managed to get past A&A Drain 108-92. Lucas Moreau netted 32 and Jason Boucher had 27 for Cutter’s, while Christian Harris had 27 and Jared Vuksan scored 25 for A&A.
In the final game, Brock Farms topped Lone Rangers 110-100. Jacob Herres put up 41 points and Aaron Petite had 33 for Brock Farms, while Jacob Kleiman had 30 and Dustin Getzloff had 17 for Lone Rangers.
