Bell’s Brewery gets credit for green initiatives

Recently, a link on a news website led me to information on Bell’s Brewery. It outlined the many green initiatives that Bell’s Brewery has taken at their existing locations. It includes, among other things, the use of geothermal heating/cooling, a Sedum green roof and water use reduction programs. I am highly impressed and am truly glad that they have decided to include Escanaba in their expansion plans. They are a fine example of how private enterprise can be financially successful while still being environmentally conscious. Although I currently place KBC at the top of my U.P. brew list, I may have to entertain a few Bells beers from now on.
