Jaeger retires after 29 years in military
TRAVIS AFB, Calif. – Air Force Reserve Master Sgt. Kevin R. Jaeger has retired from the U.S. Air Force. Jaeger is a flight engineer with the 349th Air Mobility Wing at Travis Air Force Base, Calif.
He has served for 29 years in the U.S. Air Force.
The Reservist is the son of Nancy Jaeger and brother of Connie Penoza, both of Escanaba.
Richards completes basic training
COLUMBUS, Ga. – Army Pvt. Tyler J. Richards has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions.
Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman.
Richards is the son of Sandra Richards of Gladstone and is a 2012 graduate of Escanaba High School.
