Youth Encounter planned for Oct. 12

MANISTIQUE – Youth Encounter, a Christian non-profit organization that partners with Christian communities to strengthen their youth ministry, will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Manistique on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m.

Youth Encounter facilitates over 200,000 encounters with Christ all over the world and shares the Gospel with over 15,000 youth through its event ministry, service ministry and team ministry.

Captive Free, a relational music ministry team sponsored by Youth Encounter will present an evening of music, skits and personal sharing. People of all ages are invited to this inspiring time.

The team, that includes Holly Hueter, a member of Zion and a 2009 graduate of Manistique High School, will also be sharing their music with the residents of Schoolcraft County Medical Care Facility and The Woodlands Assisted Living.

The group will also be leading morning worship at Zion on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 10:30.

The church is located at 435 Oak St., Manistique.
