Rose Mary Baldwin

CARSON, Calif. – Rose Mary Baldwin (nee Clum), 81, of Carson, Calif., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at home.

She was born Sept. 30, 1932, in Lansing, Mich., to parents Harold LeGrande Clum and Lena Grace Morrow. She was named for the street her father took to work at the Chrysler Plant in Lansing. She grew up in Dimondale and attended Dimondale High School where she played clarinet in the band and graduated in the Class of 1950.

Her main love in life was her family, where she became an avid genealogist and did much to record and preserve her family’s history, and tracing a number of her lines back to when they arrived in the United States.

She is survived by brother, Richard Clum (Jean); children, Laura Brooks (Tom), Stephen Ellis (Nellie), and Thomas Ellis; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by sister, Delores Pascotto; brother, Stanley Clum; grandson, Brad Donley; and son-in-law David Rodnick.

Graveside service to be held Oct. 28 in Dimondale, Mich., at 11 a.m.
