The Webster School Orchestra is pictured in this photo taken in the late 1930s. The orchestra, directed by Frank Karas, shown standing in the back, was comprised of fifth and sixth-grade students from the school. The youngsters have been identified as follows: from left front, Jean (Farrell) Shupter, Gerd Nielson, Jean LaCrosse, Rosalie Peterson, Eileen Neuens, and Connie Pascal; second row, Gladys Swanson, Hazel (Nelson) Sealander, Lorraine (Nelson) Magnuson, Laura Groleau, Helen (Nelson) Goss, Mary Jean (Rian) Kidd, and Joyce (Mathieson) Hall; back row, Lloyd Lindstrom, unknown, Melvin Marvic, Robert Miller and Clarence Swanson.
