Cline earns psychology doctorate
CHICAGO – Kathryn (Potter) Cline graduated with her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Adler School of Psychology on Oct. 20 in Chicago.
Dr. Cline completed her pre-doctoral internship at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, as an active duty Captain in the U.S. Army. She will begin her post-doctoral residency at BAMC beginning in January 2014.
Dr. Cline specializes in trauma and anxiety-related disorders, including the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder in military service members.
Cline was raised in Ironwood by her parents, Patti (Phil) Anderson and Jim Potter. She is the granddaughter of Jacquelyn Potter of Gladstone and the late Milton and Dolores Lauscher of Cornell. She graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1998, and received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern Illinois University in 2006.
She is married to John Cline, who is a Blackhawk pilot in the Texas Army National Guard.
Area residents awarded CMU degrees

POWERS – Lacey Prestay, bachelor of science (BS).
