People made Bay’s Golden Gala possible

This week’s bouquets go to:

From the Bay College Foundation & Alumni Association:

“The Golden Gala held in the Besse Center, in celebration of Bay College’s 50th anniversary, was a sparkling night to remember. We would like to send a big thank you to all of our volunteers, sponsors, donors and all who attended the event. The atmosphere was stunning, vittles scrumptious, music entertaining, artwork amazing and the student performance outstanding. The Center was a gift from the John and Melissa Besse Foundation, a gift which changed the face of Bay College. The Besse Center incorporates a theatre and two art galleries with walls donned that evening with artworks by the late Robert Addison. The celebration raised funds to support student success at Bay College.”

Each Saturday the Daily Press salutes individuals and groups from our area who have had a very positive impact on the way we live.

We identify our bouquet recipients in one of two ways: from Daily Press news pages and from nominations sent in by our readers.

Mail us a postcard or letter identifying your nomination and putting into detail what they’ve done. Include your name, address, and phone number. Send nominations to Saturday Bouquets, The Daily Press, 600 Ludington Street, Escanaba, MI 49829.
