Mocktails offer alternative to alcohol
This week’s bouquets go to:
From Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties:
“Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties would like to send a thank you bouquet to Gladstone Super Valu, Elmer’s County Market and Super One Foods for partnering with us to serve mocktails in their stores on Dec. 5, 6 and 7 promoting our message: ‘Provide an Alternative to Alcohol at Holiday Celebrations.’ Also, thank you to the Daily Press for their support in this annual effort. Our appreciation goes out to those who helped staff the booth.”
From Wayne, Monique, Vanessa and Logan Fields:
“Thank you so much to Bonnie Wenick-Kutz and Downtown Development Authority for touching our hearts by having our son, Logan Fields, as the Grand Marshall Prince for the 2013 annual Escanaba Christmas Parade. Thank for making our 2013 Christmas special!”
Each Saturday the Daily Press salutes individuals and groups from our area who have had a very positive impact on the way we live.
We identify our bouquet recipients in one of two ways: from Daily Press news pages and from nominations sent in by our readers.
Mail us a postcard or letter identifying your nomination and putting into detail what they’ve done. Include your name, address, and phone number. Send nominations to Saturday Bouquets, The Daily Press, 600 Ludington Street, Escanaba, MI 49829.
They may also be sent to us by going to our Web site, www.dailypress.net, and clicking on the submit news button. Once there, click on “Bouquets” and follow the simple instructions.
