CARLSON – Chad and Catherine (Bedard) Carlson of Cornell welcomed a baby girl, Cailey Ann, on Dec. 9, at 8:47 a.m. Cailey weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 19 inches long at birth.
Cailey is the first child for the couple.
Gary and Patricia Bedard of Escanaba, and Sue Carlson and Norman Petersen of Cedar River are Cailey’s grandparents.
Great-grandparents are May Ring of Cornell, Ed Bedard of Escanaba, Bill and Betty Arnold of Gladstone, and Lois Carlson of Sault Ste. Marie.
SULLIVAN – Ella Claire Sullivan is the name selected for the newborn daughter of Alyssa Osier and Jeff Sullivan. The infant was delivered on Aug. 20 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. She weighed in at 9 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 20.75 inches long.
Ella joins a sister, Mariah, at home.
The baby’s maternal grandparents are Debbie Osier, and Linda and Jim Beauchamp. Mary and Russell Beaver are the paternal grandparents. All are residents of Escanaba.
PICARD – Trina and Nicholas Picard welcomed a baby boy, Liam Scott, on Dec. 12 at 10:53 p.m. He weighed 8 pounds, 5.3 ounces and was 21 inches long when he was delivered at OSF St. Francis Hospital.
Liam’s grandparents are Lisa Plough of Escanaba and Micah Maggart of Fenton, Mich., and the late Bob Plough, Don and Amy Picard, also of Escanaba.
Great grandparents are Pat and Ray Hagman of Gladstone, Jerry Peterson of Rapid River, Bob and Barb Plough of Venice, Fla., Jack and Joyce Picard of Wells, Diane Minor (Mike Slaga) of Escanaba, and Nancy McClinchy of Rapid River.
Liam’s great-great-grandmother is Rita McNair of Gladstone.
HAMILTON – Daniel and Rebecca (Carlson) Hamilton of Tecumseh, Mich., welcomed a baby boy, born Nov. 27 at 9:04 a.m. in Ann Arbor. Geno Thomas weighed in at 9 pounds, 1 ounce, and was 20 inches long.
Geno joins sister Lily Ann at home.
Grandparents include Thomas and Carolyn Povich, formerly of Gladstone, and Gary Carlson of Gladstone.
HEATH – Matt and Mary Heath of Escanaba welcomed a baby boy Nov. 18 at 9:31 a.m. at OSF St. Francis Hospital. Jack Ryon weighed 9 pounds, 12.8 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
Jack joins brother, Thomas, at home.
Grandparents include Jane and Kermit Kidder of Stephenson, and Jack and Kay Cancilla of Chatham, and the late Sharon Cancilla.
