Barbara A. Lindstrom
CARNEY – Barbara A. Lindstrom, 74, of Carney, passed away on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at the Pinecrest Medical Care Facility with her loving family by her side.
She was born on Aug. 22, 1939, in Stephenson, the daughter of the late Paul and Louise (Giguere) Beaudoin. On March 4, 1961, she married Kenneth Lindstrom at the church parsonage in Carney and he survives. Barbara was a homemaker and devoted her entire life to her family. In addition to spending time with them, she enjoyed playing cards, shopping, and watching her shows on TV.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Carney; three children, Beverly Lindstrom of Carney, Brian Lindstrom of Daggett, and Judy (Jessie) Conley of Powers; one grandchild, Steven (Rachel) Conley of Powers; three sisters, Martha (Gerry) Gronmark of Carney, Dorothy (Joe) Limas of Illinois, and Marge (Jerry) Hayden of California; four sisters-in-law, Elaine (Jay) Gorman of Menominee, Doris (Larry) Green of California, Carolyn (George) Tichelaar of Hermansville and June (Harold) Graves of Washington; two brothers-in-law, Earl (Lillian) Lindstrom of Carney and Bob Lindstrom of Chicago; and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ken Beaudoin; a sister, Betty Frisque; a brother-in-law Vernon Lindstrom; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Crockett.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. (CST) on Friday, Jan. 3, at the Carney Free Church in Carney. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. with Pastor Gary Page officiating. A luncheon will follow the service. Burial will be in the Carney Church cemetery in the spring. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
