Diment on law school dean’s list

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Morley Chenail Diment, formerly of Gladstone and a 2006 graduate of Escanaba High School, has been named to the Fall Semester 2013 Dean’s List at Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in Montgomery, Ala.

Diment earned this honor having achieved a 3.33 or better grade point average for this semester.

He is the son of Lori Chenail-Viau (James) of Gladstone and Matthew Diment (Donna) of Fenton, Mich. His grandparents are Fred and Ellen Chenail of Gladstone and his sisters are Halle (Garrett) Marenger of Escanaba and Kadey Hartung of Gladstone.

Esky student earns forestry degree

STEVENS POINT, Wis., – Zack T. Desy of Escanaba, a student at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, has been awarded a bachelor’s degree in forestry, administration and utilization.

He is one of nearly 700 graduates who were presented degrees during the university’s 2013 winter commencement ceremonies.

Schwartz earns Eau Claire honors

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Jordan Schwartz of Rapid River has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

He is one of 2,166 undergraduate students at the college who achieved the honor.

Schwartz is attending the School of Arts and Sciences.

UW-Stevens Point lists honor students

STEVENS POINT – Four area residents are among the 2,700 undergraduate students at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point who attained high grade point averages during the fall semester of the 2013-2014 academic year.

Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the highest honors designation. High honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.

The students receiving honors are:

GLADSTONE – Katherine R Menard (Honors) and Jessica A Wickman (Highest Honors.

RAPID RIVER – Darrell Kohli (Highest Honors).

Local pair on MSU dean’s list

EAST?LANSING – Christopher LaMarche and Cassandra LaMarche of Gladstone were both named to the Dean’s List at Michigan State University for the first Semester of 2013-2014.
