Seniors get ripped again

EDITOR:

If I get this right the DNR changed the license fee. It will cost $5 for a base license and $28 for a combination license.

So it will cost seniors $33 for that license or $13 for single license. What a rip off. Last year it was $12 and $6. Add that to other costs and processing it could cost $125 or more for a deer.

We don’t spend the money like we used to when we were working. So maybe we are being pushed out by the high cost. (Even the DNR will be a senior someday).

Seniors that own land and pay taxes should hunt free. After all it’s not our fault the state’s deer come on our land. Don’t be fooled by that base license, all people don’t hunt small game.
