Dubrock – Sturdy
MAUI, Hawaii – Deanna Joy Dubrock and Nicholas Steven Sturdy were united in marriage on Sept. 24, 2013, on Wahikuli Beach, in Maui, Hawaii. The private morning ceremony was officiated by Rev. Keith Pagan.
The bride is the daughter of Allan and Patricia Dubrock of Bark River. She is the granddaughter of Albert and Evelyn Gagne of Harris, and the late Vernon and Edna Dubrock of Schaffer. Deanna is a 2002 graduate of Bark River-Harris High School. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications, and from Bay de Noc Community College with an associate’s degree in nursing. She works as a registered nurse at OSF St. Francis Hospital.
The groom is the son of Steven and Sandra Sturdy of Gladstone, and grandson of Lucille Petersen and the Gary Petersen of Escanaba, and the late R. Kenneth and Carol Sturdy of Gladstone. Nicholas is a 1999 graduate of Escanaba High School. He served four years in the U.S. Army, and graduated from Bay College with an associate’s degree in business. He is employed as a heavy equipment operator at NewPage.
Following a honeymoon in Maui, the new Mr. and Mrs. Sturdy are residing in Gladstone.
