Area students named to Alma dean’s list

ALMA – Three area residents are among the 400 students at Alma College to be named to the Dean’s List for outstanding academic performance during the 2013 Fall Term. Students who achieve a 3.5 or better grade point average during a term, while carrying a minimum of 13 credits, at least eight of which are evaluative grades, are named to the Dean’s List.

Those named to the list from your area include:

COOKS – Isaac Pohlman;

MANISTIQUE – Cody Kayser;

MENOMINEE – James Graham.

Aldrich named to St. Mary dean’s list

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Ind., has named Emily Aldrich to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2013 semester. Emily is the daughter of Richard and Beth Aldrich of Manistique.

To earn academic honors at Saint Mary’s, a student must achieve a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.6 on a 4.0 scale, have at least 12 graded credit hours, no incompletes, and no grades lower than a C.
