ANDERSON – Escanaba residents, Nathan and Ashley Anderson, welcomed a baby boy, their first child, born at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay on Feb. 16 at 6:40 pm (CST). Samuel Nathan weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 20 inches long at birth.

The mother is the former Ashley Erickson.

Cindy Erickson of Escanaba, Greg and Betty Evensen of Crystal Falls, and Richard and Lori Anderson of Gladstone are Samuel’s grandparents.

Great-grandmother’s are Lu Brunette of Escanaba and Carol Bergstrom of Gladstone.

DICKERSON – A baby boy, Adam Harold Dickerson, was born Feb. 19 to Jessica Ligocki and Adam Dickerson, both of Wilson. The infant, delivered at 6:43 p.m. at OSF St. Francis Hospital, weighed 8 pounds, 4.9 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

Russel and Dawn Ligocki of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Linda and Harold Dickerson of Rock are baby Adam’s grandparents.

BOWDEN – Jake Bowden and Courtney Jensen, both of Escanaba, welcomed a baby boy, Chase Robert Bowden, born at 7:36 p.m. on Feb. 17 at OSF St. Francis Hospital. The infant weighed 7 pounds, 8.5 ounces, and was 19 inches long.

He is the couple’s first child.

Grandparents are Rob and Tammy Jensen, and Tom and Dawn Bowden, all of Escanaba.

Great-grandparents are: Betty and Jim LaVigne of Bark River; and Bob Jensen and Joyce Jensen, Mary and Bob Bowden, and Dorothy and Richard Dupont all of Escanaba.

RUDDEN – Chad and Julie (Branstrom) Rudden of Escanaba welcomed a baby girl, Kinslee Anne, born at Marquette General Hospital on Feb. 1 at 6:26 a.m. Kinslee weighed in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 19 inches long.

Kinslee Anne is the couple’s first child.

Grandparents include Bryon and Lori Branstrom of Gladstone and William and Peggy Rudden of Escanaba.

GIESE – Kyle and Amy (Englund) Giese of Gladstone are the parents of a baby boy, Rylen Joseph, born Jan. 24 at 11:44 a.m. at OSF St. Francis Hospital. Rylen weighed 6 pounds, 5.6 ounces, and was 18.5 inches long.

He joins his sister, Taylor, and brother, Dylan, at home.

The baby’s maternal grandparents are Kathy Henize of Gladstone and the late Stanley Englund of Rock; paternal grandparents are Keith Giese Sr. of Ingalls and Dorthy Ihander.

Great-grandparents include Bill and Judy Brunette of Ford River, Joe Kodanko of McFarland, Shirley Giese of Daggett, and Kenneth Giese of Milwaukee, Wis.

SMITH – Matthew and Katie (DeMay) Smith of Escanaba welcomed a son, Kellan Matthew, born on Dec. 17 at 11:07 p.m. at OSF St. Francis Hospital. Kellan weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 19 inches long.

The baby joins a sister, Sophia, at home.

Kellan’s grandparents include Richard DeMay of Gladstone, Gail and Dutch McEachern, also from Gladstone, and Craig and Denise Smith of Cornell.

Great-grandparents are Willa DeMay and Jack and Virginia Johnson, all of Gladstone, and Judy Jansen and Jane Smith, both of Iron Mountain.
