Robert “Bob” Brian Tyson

TROY, Mo. – Mr. Robert “Bob” Brian Tyson of Troy, Mo, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014.

He was born on April 6, 1960, in Saginaw, Mich., to Edgar Issac and Idamae (Bailey) Tyson.

He previously worked at Northern Michigan Veneers in Gladstone and was currently employed at the Coca-Cola plant in Warrenton.

He is survived by his fiancee, Gina Meyer of Troy; three sons, Dakota Tyson of Tampa, Fla., Jamie Broz of Troy, and Mark Kleiman of Gladstone; three daughters, Nicole (Matthew) Montanez of England, Amber Tyson of Tampa, Fla., Stephanie Broz of St.Louis; one brother, Thomas (Jutta) Tyson of Mannheim, Germany; two sisters, Linda (William) Ricketts of Gladstone, Sandra (Robert) Ochsenkehl of Escanaba; sister-in-law, Margaret Tyson of Whittemore, Mich.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Edgar Tyson Jr. and James Tyson; and Gina’s daughter, Christine Broz.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, from 2 to 7 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Troy.

There will be a local memorial reception at the Kipling Town Hall in Kipling on March 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. for family and friends.
