Judith Ann Ibarra

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. – Judith Ann Ibarra, 52, of Elk Grove Village, Ill., passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, Ill. She was born Feb. 27, 1962, in Chicago, and was the daughter of Frank and Marcie (Harrison) Ibarra. Judy graduated from Wisconsin Academy in Columbus, Wis., in 1980 after which she lived and worked in the Chicago area. Judith Ann Ibarra is survived by her husband, Manuel Vargas of Elk Grove Village, Ill.; parents, Frank and Marcie Ibarra of Escanaba; sisters, Linda Ibarra of Salem, Ore.; niece and nephew, Marisol and Rick Ibarra, Janis (Steve) Valenti of Loma Linda, Calif., Justin and Bridgit Wagner and Michael Valenti; great-nieces Amaya Miles and XZaria Rose (who both lived with Judy); several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Sunday, March 16, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Judith Ann Ibarra will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Nels Thompson officiating.

A luncheon will be served following the funeral services at the Wells Township Hall in Wells, Mich. Burial will take place in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
