Three injured in two-vehicle collision
WALLACE – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle head-on collision in Wallace at 11:29 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Menominee County Sheriff’s Department.
A 43-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, both from Tennessee, were southbound on U.S. 41, near County Road G-08, where they crossed the centerline and struck a northbound vehicle driven by a 62-year-old Daggett man.
The two people from Tennessee were ejected from their vehicle, transported to Bay Area Medical Center, then transferred by helicopter to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. Their conditions are unknown.
After being extricated from his vehicle, the Daggett man was transported to Bay Area Medical Center then transferred to Theda-Clarke Medical Center in Neenah, Wis. His condition is unknown.
Alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the accident, according to the sheriff’s department which continues to investigate the crash.
