Gary L. Reynolds
GLADSTONE – Gary L. Reynolds, 68, of Gladstone, passed away after a lengthy illness on March 28, 2014, surrounded by his wife and family at Troy Beaumont Hospital near Detroit.
Gary was born on Nov. 1, 1945, in Warren, Mich., the son of Louis and Betty Roberts. He was raised in Mt. Clemens, Mich., and was a 1963 graduate of Mt. Clemens High School. Gary married his childhood sweetheart, Carol (Michael), in January of 2000. They spent the majority of their years together in Las Vegas, where they embarked on numerous adventures, while overcoming challenges and enjoying success. In 2009, Gary and Carol moved to Gladstone to be close to their children and many grandchildren.
Throughout his life, Gary has been a successful entrepreneur, motivational speaker, salesman, and loving father and grandfather lovingly known to his grandkids as “Bubba.”
He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Ysette Guevara (Brian), Danielle Reynolds, Staci (Steve) Berg, Rob(Amy) LaPerre, Mike (Denise) LaPerre, Cristine (Mark) Christoff, Erick(Jill) Hansen, Ginny (Nick) Jungles; his many grandchildren; and his parrot, George, who resides in Las Vegas.
Gary’s family will receive friends on Monday, April 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. with a service and dinner to follow, at United Evangelical Covenant Church, 305 South 9th Street, Gladstone.
