Zack Wayne Lowe

ESCANABA – Zack Wayne Lowe, 76, of 1920 2nd Ave. N., Escanaba, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Feb. 6, 1938, in Montgomery County, Maryland, and was the son of Zackie and Flora (Redman) Lowe.

Wayne was raised in Maryland and at the age of 14 began his employment career in the sheet metal industry where he remained until his retirement in 2011.

On June 24, 1960, Zack Wayne Lowe married the former Linda Aleshire in Damascus, Maryland.

Wayne was a member of the First United Methodist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed; fishing, going to yard sales, playing cards with family and friends, but his greatest joy was spending time with not only his two-legged family members but also with his faithful and loving four-legged companion Duke.

Wayne is survived by: wife, Linda of Escanaba; sons, Gary (Tracy) Lowe of Delaware and Donald (Lynn) Lowe of West Virginia; daughters, Patty Lowe of West Virginia, Teresa Lowe of Escanaba, Shannon (Lee) Maher of Maryland, Jennifer (Jason) Moulds of Escanaba; grandsons, Jaycee Lowe, Johnathan Lowe, Patrick Lynch, Thomas Lowe, Christopher Lowe, James Smith, Brian Smith, Cody Lowe, James Cushman, Michael Green, David Azadi, Kamran Azadi, Hunter Banks, and Hayden Moulds; granddaughters, Kathy Norris, Laura Russell, Alexis Lowe, Katie Lowe, Kara Lowe, Michelle Clevenger, Amber Lowe, Ashley Lowe, Angela Stewart, Deidre Lowe, Samantha Moulds, Braylin Keel-Moulds, Corrine Moulds, and Dakyla Moulds; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Mulligan of Tennessee; furry best friend, Duke.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Dale on April 11, 2012, four brothers, and one sister.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Zack Wayne Lowe will follow at 2 p.m. in the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carman Minarik of the First United Methodist Church officiating.
