GRABOWSKI – Clarence Grabowski and Tori Augsburger, both of Escanaba, welcomed a baby girl, Abigail Nicole, born April 2 at OSF St. Francis Hospital. Delivered at 9:29 p.m., the infant weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 19 inches in length.
Abigail is the couple’s first child.
John and Nicole Augsburger of Rapid River and Bonnie and Keith Grabowski of Escanaba are Abigail’s grandparents.
MARTINUCCI – Gladstone residents, Dustin Martinucci and Kaylee King, welcomed a baby boy, Landen John, born at 11:08 p.m. on March 28 at OSF St. Francis Hospital. Landen weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 19 inches long at birth.
Mary and Randy King and Mark and Stephanie Martinucci, all of Gladstone, are Landen’s grandparents.
Great-grandparents include Beverly Farrell of Gladstone, and Eugene and Mary Martinucci, Mike Petrick, and Linda Bachoracls, all of Kingsford.
WESTERBERG – Matthew and Erin Westerberg of Eagle, Colo., announce the birth of their first child, a son, born at 8:45 a.m. on March 12 at Vail Valley Medical Center in Vail, Colo. Nolan Stephen weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 19 3/4 inches long at birth.
The mother is the former Erin Sumpter.
Nolan’s grandparents are Brad and Bev Sumpter of Warrenton, Mo., and Todd and Pam Westerberg of Escanaba.
Agnes VanEnkevort of Bark River is the great-grandmother.
WATSON – Former Escanaba resident, Patricia Tighe, and her husband, Lorne Watson, of Brooklyn, N.Y., welcomed a baby boy, Asa Lorne Watson, born on Feb. 25 at 7:35 p.m. He weighed in at 9 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 21 inches long when he was delivered at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn.
Little Ace is the couple’s first child.
The baby’s grandparents are Robert and Janet Tighe of Escanaba, and Marvon Watson, Mary McIvor, and William and Millie Blanchard, all of Lansing.
VERBRIGGHE – Carolina Grey is the name chosen for the newborn daughter of Brad and Jennifer (Miron) Verbrigghe of Escanaba. The baby girl was delivered at 11:27 a.m. on March 24 at OSF St. Francis Hospital. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 18.5 inches long.
Carolina joins five siblings, Kadin, Arieanna, Sophia, Jackson, and Violet, in the family.
Grandparents are Kevin and Michelle Miron of Bark River, and Terry and Mary Verbrigghe of Rock.
Fred and Carole Gagne of Bark River, and Everell and John Verbrigghe, and Geraldine Wery, all of Rock, are the baby’s great-grandparents.
KARS – Steven and Rachel (Van Donsel) Kars welcomed baby girl, Sierra Avery Rosalie, born at Marquette General Hospital on March 12. Sierra weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces at birth.
She joins big sisters, Abigail and Kinzie, at home.
Sierra’s grandparents are Paul and Darlene Kars of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada, and Mark and Carolyn Van Donsel of Krakow, Wis.
Rosalie Romona Van Donsel of Green Bay is the great-grandmother.
