SINNAEVE – Chris and Kristen (Simonsen) Sinnaeve of Gladstone welcomed a baby girl, born on March 27. Ainsley Marie was delivered at 7:51 p.m. at Marquette General Hospital. She weighed 5 pounds, 8 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.

Ainsley joins a brother, Kaden and a sister, Serina at home.

The baby’s grandparents are Ken and Mary Simonsen of Perkins, Frank and Sharon Sinnaeve of Gladstone, Linda Heitman of Escanaba, and Bill Heitman of Rapid River.

Great-grandmothers are Sigrid Simonsen of Perkins, Ruth Lippens and Dorothy Sovey both of Escanaba.

FOX – Ben and Amber (Germain) Fox of Stephenson are the parents of a baby boy, Nicholas Scott, born at 3:20 p.m. on April 2 at OSF St. Francis Hospital. Nicholas weighed in at 8 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long.

He joins siblings, Logan, Lydia, Carter, Jake and Nadia.

The baby’s grandparents are Joe and Michele Germain of Green Bay, Wis., and Wally and Cheryl Fox of Ekalaka, Mont.

Donna Whitman of Escanaba is Nicholas’s great-grandmother.

VEESER – Layton Anthony is the name chosen for the newborn son of Jason and Trisha (Otradovec) Veeser of Gladstone. Delivered at Marquette General Hospital on March 17 at 6:11 a.m., Layton weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces, and was 18.5 inches long.

Layton joins a brother, Owen, and a sister, Brynn at home.

Kim and Elaine Veeser of Powers, Donna Thiry of Rapid River, and Brian and Pam Otradovec of Collinsville, Ill., are Layton’s grandparents.

The baby’s great-grandparents include, Betty Veeser of Powers, Laurence and Martha Savord of Hermansville, Jerry and Elaine Thiry of Carney, and Tony and Pinky Otradovec of Wilson.

KOSITZKY -A baby girl, Emery Rose Kositzky, was born Feb. 14 in Los Angeles, Calif., to Ben Kositzky and Amanda Houston. The infant weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 19.5 inches long at birth.

Emery is the couple’s first child.

Grandparents are Rich and Mi Kositzky of Kenosha, Wis.

William and Anita Kositzky of Escanaba are the baby’s great-grandparents. Great-great-grandmother is Ile Johnson of Powers.

DAHN – Leela Jane is the name selected for the newborn daughter of Sarah Solis of Escanaba and Leeland Dahn of Menominee. The infant was delivered at 8:23 a.m. on April 3 at OSF St. Francis Hospital. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 11.2 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long.

Leela joins two brothers, Emmett and Jax.

Maternal grandparents are Kari Solis of Escanaba and Gary Solis of Gladstone. Lori and Pat Dahn of Escanaba are Leela’s paternal grandparents.

Great-grandparents include Grace and Wayne Keach of Fox Lake, Wis., Alice Solis of Gladstone, and Doris and Leonard Scheuren of Escanaba.
