Remember When?

A wagon load of Cloverland flour formed a float for a parade in Gladstone in the early days of the company. Paul Zimmel is the driver. The slogan read, “Cloverland Flour, good as any, Better than Many.” Many farmers drove their teams all day to reach Gladstone to have their grain ground into flour in the building, which was located on the 700 block of Superior Ave. in Gladstone. The farmers had to remain in town overnight and return home the next day.
