Roberta (Bobbie) Molloy Knuth
FISHERS, Ind. – Roberta (Bobbie) Molloy Knuth, 64, former Escanaba resident, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014, at the home of her daughter in Fishers, Ind. She was born Feb. 6, 1950, in Escanaba, Mich., and was the daughter of Robert and Amelia (Swed) Molloy. Roberta loved to travel, often sharing stories about her adventures and the friends shed made in Morocco, Japan, Hawaii, Maine, Florida, Washington and most of the states in between. She enjoyed writing letters, visiting new churches and finding the Lord in nature. She was a loving mother and daughter who devoted her life to caring for others.
Roberta E. Knuth is survived by: daughter, Teri (Steve) Stringfield of Fishers, Ind.; son, Jim (Lisa) Knuth of Bark River, Mich.; six grandchildren, Julia, Stephen, Veronica, Luke Robert, Mason and Trey; sister, Esther (Leonard) Sauls of Jacksonville, Fla.; aunt, Ellen Molloy of Escanaba; uncle, Leonard Swed of Chicago, Ill.; one nephew and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Roberta Molloy -Knuth will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Father Fran DeGroot from St. Anne Catholic Church officiating.
