NYLUND – Dan and Holly (Nicholson) Nylund of Escanaba, welcomed a baby boy, Harvey Daniel, born March 18 at Dickinson County Hospital. The infant weighed 9 pounds 3 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
Harvey is the couple’s first child.
His grandparents are Daniel and Denise Nicholson of Rapid River, and Lee and Sally Nylund of Crystal Falls.
Great-grandparents are John and Phyllis King of Flat Rock, and Herb and Jean Nicholson of Escanaba.
REYNOLDS – Alexandria Reynolds welcomed a baby girl, born at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba, on April 15 at 7:49 a.m. Nora Elizabeth weighed 5 pounds, 9.7 ounces, and was 17.5 inches long.
Baby Nora’s grandparents are Jenny and Lou Reynolds of Escanaba, and Deanna and Brett Ham of Fayetteville, N.C.
Great-grandparents are Tom and JoEllen LaFave of Escanaba, Lee and Nora Reynolds of Nebo, N.C., Gae and Daniel Wanken of Fayetteville, N.C., and Sandy and Carl Ham of Fayetteville, N.C.
Doris Thiry of Escanaba is her great-great-grandmother.
TROTTIER – Henry Trottier II and his wife, the former Michele DeMars, welcomed a baby girl, Samantha Clare, on April 2 at Dickinson County Hospital. Delivered at 10:30 a.m., Samantha weighed 10 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20 inches long.
Samantha joins two siblings, Evelyn and Henry III, in the family.
Cathy and the late Tom DeMars of Escanaba, along with Henry and Caroline Trottier of Escanaba, are Samantha’s grandparents.
ANDERSON – Dierks John, newborn son of Samantha Baird and Luke Anderson of Gladstone, was delivered at OSF St. Francis Hospital at 11:06 a.m. on April 17. The infant weighed 8 pounds, 15.6 ounces, and was 20 inches long at birth.
Dierks joins three siblings, Katie, 11, Harley, 2, and Hailee, at home.
Vickey Baird and the late John Baird of Gladstone, and Peter and Anita Anderson of Aitkin, Minn., are the infant’s grandparents.
Great-grandparents are Louis Anderson of Aitkin and Henriette Pribyl of Crosby, Minn.
ZIRKLE – A baby girl is the second child for Nahma residents, Justin and Catherine (Hardwick) Zirkle. The infant was delivered at at OSF St. Francis Hospital at 12:11 a.m. on April 19, weighing 5 pounds, .05 ounces, and measuring 17 1/2 inches in length. She has been named Olivia Ann.
Olivia joins a brother, Garrett, at home.
Barry Hardwick and Lori Hardwick of St. Jacques are the baby’s maternal grandparents. Paternal grandparents are Bill and Cathy Schwartz of Fort Wayne, Ind.
Great-grandparents are Bill and Connie Hardwick of St. Jacques.
