Thomma awarded FSU honors
ESCANABA – Kevin Thomma has been selected as the Outstanding Television and Digital Media Production student for the 2013-2014 academic year at Ferris State University. Thomma, who is the son of Terry Thomma and Kelly Thomma, both of Escanaba, is a 2009 graduate of Escanaba High School and a 2013 graduate of Ferris.
Each year, one student from within each of the various programs within the College of Education and Human Services at Ferris is recognized for their particularly stellar performance over the course of their degree completion.
According to Glen Okonoski, the Digital Media Production Coordinator at Ferris, “Kevin was recognized for his hard work, dedication, can-do attitude and creative vision. It was an honor to recognize him and we are thrilled – and not the least surprised – that he is continuing to make a good impression with a positive impact.”
Thomma joined the staff at Video Concepts in Marquette in May of 2013 as the Director of Video Acquisition. Video Concepts is an independent production company that produces TV commercials and marketing videos for clients throughout the Midwest.
