IVES – Gladstone residents, Benjamin and Kelsey (Wiethoff) Ives, welcomed identical twin girls to their family. The girls were born at Marquette General Hospital Birthing Center on May 9. Zadie Angela was delivered at 8:19 a.m. She weighed in at 5 pounds, 5.7 ounces, and was 17 inches long. Her sister, Zurie Kramer, arrived a minute later at 8:20 a.m. She weighed 5 pounds, 3.9 ounces, and was 17.5 inches long.
The babies join their 7-year old sister, Eliana, who is Benjamin’s first child.
Dennis Wiethoff of Palm Beach, Fla., Kris Wiethoff of Escanaba, Steve and Angie Ives of Gladstone, and Chuck and Paula Thurber of Flint, are Zadie and Zurie’s grandparents.
Great-grandparents are Roger and Barb Ives of Bark River, Wayne Kujala of Gladstone, Phil and Carline Standerfer of Gladstone, Emily Miron of Rapid River, and Ray Harris of Big Fork, Mont.
The girls also have a great-great-grandfather, Anthony “Tony” Jordan of Baton Rouge, La.
CARTER-JAEGER – A baby girl, Jane Elizabeth Carter-Jaeger, was born Feb. 4 to Mariel Carter and Karl Jaeger of Peshtigo, Wis. Jane Elizabeth weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 22 inches long at birth.
She joins a sister, Charlotte Therese, at home.
Maternal grandparents are Steve and Monica Carter of Peshtigo. Paternal grandparents are Thomas and Jody Jaeger of Rapid River.
Ronald and Verna Jaeger of Gladstone are the baby’s great-grandparents.
