Woman run over by semi

MENOMINEE TOWNSHIP – An Escanaba woman remains hospitalized in Milwaukee where she continues to be treated for injuries received when she was run over by a semi truck in Wisconsin a month ago, according to the Menominee County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies said alcohol was a factor when Megan Erin O’Donnell, 25, was on Highway M-35 in Menominee Township and was accidentally run over by a semi driven by Terrance Blazer, 52, of Green Bay. The accident occurred at 2:06 a.m. on May 31.

O’Donnell suffered life-threatening injuries and was transferred by helicopter from Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette to Freodtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

Her medical condition was unavailable.

No charges are being sought in connection with the accident which has been ruled accidental, according to the sheriff’s department.
