to reunite

GLADSTONE – Members of the Gladstone High School Class of 1994 will be having their 20th-year reunion on Saturday, July 5, at the Gladstone Golf Course. The reunion begins at 7 p.m.

No RSVP is needed and classmates may pay at the door.

‘Walk With Ease’ topic

of arthritis workshop

ESCANABA – The Arthritis Foundation presents “Walk With Ease” workshop at the Escanaba Senior Center. Anyone who wants relief from arthritis pain or just wants to be more active is welcome to take part.

Starting Monday, July 7, UPCAP is partnering with the Escanaba Senior Center to offer the free workshop every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-10:15 a.m. for six weeks.

The meetings will be at the Escanaba Senior Center, located at 225 North 21st Street. To register call 2-1-1 or 786-4701 for more information.

ESCANABA – The health clinic schedule at Public Health of Delta County for the week of July 7-11 include:

Monday – WIC;

Tuesday – Family Planning;

Wednesday – WIC (late night) and Family Planning;

Thursday – Senior Screening;

Friday – WIC and Family Planning.

All clients are seen by appointment only. Evening and Saturday appointments are available for some clinics.

IXL Museum open on

for Independence Day

HERMANSVILLE – The IXL Museum will open following the Fourth of July parade on Saturday. Vintage Flags will be on display. The carshow will be on museum grounds. A 50/50 drawing will be available.

Square Dance Club

to host dance

STEPHENSON – The Twin City Squares Square Dance Club will celebrate 50 years of dancing on Saturday, July 19, with a dance at Belgium Town Restaurant, W4346 Belgiumtown Road, Stephenson.

The dance begins at 2, supper will be served at 5:30 and dancing will continue until 10 p.m.

The callers for the dance are the Solid Gold Callers, Tom Manning, Bob Asp, and Don and Doug Sprosty.

All present and past square dancers are invited. The cost of the dinner and dance is $25, dinner or dance only $15.

Ludington Park

ESCANABA – The City of Escanaba invites the public to the Karas Bandshell in Ludington Park to enjoy “Music Mondays.” Beginning July 7, and continuing through Aug. 4, a variety of bands will play from 79 p.m. The schedule is as follows:

July 7, Robert Allen Jr. and Rick Holmes, a Milwaukee duo playing rockabilly and blues;

July 14, Madison Avenue, a premier variety band, complete with a horn section;

July 21, ToHuBoHu, a trio of troubadours playing blues, jazz, alternative country, and a touch of New Orleans;

July 28, Jim and Ray, Marquette-based legends playing 60’s and 70’s oldies;

Aug. 4, The Cadillacs, helping to close out the summer with favorite party band.

All bands are sponsored by Blues for a Cause.
