Kenneth Edward ‘Ken’ Motto
BARK RIVER – Kenneth Edward “Ken” Motto, 63, 1176 12th Road, Bark River, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at his home. He was a life-long resident of Bark River.
He was born on Aug. 10, 1950, in Gourley Township, son of Tony and Alice (Skyja) Motto. Ken graduated from Bark River-Harris High School.
Ken was employed with the U.S. Postal Service as a mail sorter.
He enjoyed following Bark River sporting events and the Green Bay Packers. Ken collected recipes and loved dogs and cats.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Survivors include: his three sisters, Carol Hay of Escanaba, Hazel Diviak of Oregon, and Irene Perry of Florida; two brothers, Jim Motto of Escanaba and Ray Motto of Bark River; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 12, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Crawford Funeral Chapel in Bark River. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Darryl Pepin officiating. A luncheon will follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Burial will be in the Bark River Cemetery.
