Colts sign Sault native Anderson
MARQUETTE – The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday they have signed former Northern Michigan University offensive lineman Chad Anderson to a free agent contract.
Anderson, a 6-3, 318 pound native of Sault Ste. Marie, was a four-year letter winner for the Wildcats and started all 32 games over three seasons for NMU, including starting all 10 as a senior at right tackle.
Anderson anchored an offensive line which helped generate 23.5 points per game for the Wildcats and 352.8 yards per game in 2013-14. NMU was 31-for-37 in the red zone last season and posted 3,021 of total offense.
