Taco benefit July 25 for Jeannette Pierce
ESCANABA – Jeannette Pierce is a loving wife and mother of four children. She has been battling Stage 4 breast cancer that has migrated into her bones and has been courageously fighting this battle since 2013.
Finances have become difficult because of treatment and traveling expenses. As a result, her friends and family are coming together to help the family out with the costs of her treatments and travel expenses.
The former Jeannette Sheldon was born and raised in the Felch area and currently resides in Escanaba. She is a Faith-driven woman who knows that God is in control. Even through all this, she has continued to give back to this community with her volunteer work.
A fun night is planned for Friday, July 25, from 4-7 p.m. and will include a taco bar, silent auction, and bake sale. There will also be face painting and games for the kids. A Thirty-One table will be set up for the ladies, with the commissions going directly to the Pierce Family.
The cost to attend the event is a free-will donation.
The event will take place at New Life Assembly of God located at 2005 8th Ave South Escanaba .
