Nahma Township Senior

Recognition Tea

NAHMA – The public is invited to attend the 11th Annual Senior Recognition Tea, which will be hosted by the Nahma Township Historical Society on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Nahma Township Hall.

This event pays tribute to senior citizens residing in Nahma Township (past and present), who are at least 80 years of age.

The program will include individual memory accounts of life in Nahma Township (Nahma, St. Jacques, Isabella), a sing-a-long, and refreshments.

The theme of this year’s program is the “Bay De Nocquet Lumber Company.” A short history of the company will be made. An update on the “Save the Burner” project will be given.

All those in attendance will be encouraged to share memories of the “Bay De Noc Days in Nahma.”

For further information, call Dani at (906) 786-7766 or (906) 444-4004.

The historical museum will be open prior to the event.
